Description

Our most versatile GORE-TEX shell. Its durable 80D outer fabric and lightweight, robust, PFC-free (perfluorinated chemicals) GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane provide long-lasting waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection while reducing its carbon footprint. The C-KNIT liner offers added comfort, and the streamlined StormHood adjusts with a quick pull for protection without compromising vision. The articulated fit moves with you, and the integrated RECCO reflector can assist in search operations.

Product tip: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice that the outer material "wets out" slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself. If you notice the material wetting out faster than you'd like, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil contamination and bring the DWR back to full power.
